THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A  FLOOD ADVISORY FOR... SHELBY, DARKE,  AUGLAIZE AND MERCER COUNTIES ... * UNTIL 700 PM EDT. * AT 354 PM EDT, RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO THE ADVISORY AREA. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH 530 PM EDT. THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN WILL LEAD TO FLOODING ISSUES. * MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND POORLY DRAINED STREETS, HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES WILL OCCUR. IN ADDITION, FARMLAND NEAR CREEKS, STREAMS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE... SIDNEY, BELLEFONTAINE, URBANA, COLDWATER, NEW BREMEN, MINSTER, ST. HENRY, ST. PARIS, NEWPORT, WEST LIBERTY, MECHANICSBURG, ANNA, NORTH LEWISBURG, FORT LORAMIE, JACKSON CENTER, DE GRAFF, BOTKINS, NEW KNOXVILLE, HARDIN AND QUINCY. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
